The relationship between highly acclaimed chef George Jardine and award-winning wine producers of Jordan Wine Estate, Gary and Kathy Jordan, started four years ago when Jordan Restaurant opened in 2009 on their Stellenbosch estate. Since inception the Jordan Restaurant has consistently been rated one of South Africa’s Top 10 restaurants by Eat Out Magazine.
With the launch of The Bakery at Jordan, the Jordans and Jardines have reinforced this relationship.
The Bakery atmosphere is relaxed and fun, evident in the modern, yet simple décor in neutral shades with a splash of red, where visitors can unwind and enjoy the freshly produced fare amongst the aromas of baking bread, pastries and freshly brewed coffee. Alternatively one may dine ‘al fresco’ on either the lawns or the newly completed wooden deck.
Visitors can choose from a selection of dishes of the day, charcuteries, breads, dips, cheeses and pastries.
