Getting to the trails from Hazendal: Ride out of the farm entrance, cross the tar road and turn RIGHT. After 150 metres turn LEFT onto a gravel track and follow the pink arrows from there that lead you to join up with the GREEN LOOP. From there, follow the green arrows to the rest of the route.

Getting to the trails from Zevenwacht Wine Estate: From the Zevenwacht Country Inn follow the road around the dam until you see the Bottelary Hills MTB signboard. Follow the pink arrows from here to link up with the Green Loop. At the end of your ride exit the Green Loop at the same point you entered and follow the link back to the start at Zevenwacht.

Getting to the trails from Overgaauw: From the parking area follow the road around the left of the tasting room to the Bottelary Hills MTB sign. From there follow the pink arrows to the rest of the trails.

Day permit sales: 24/7 from Asara hotel reception

Enter at the main security gate off the R310 between Stellenbosch and Kuilsriver. Parking available at “P2” parking lot behind the hotel.

Getting to the trails from ASARA: follow the main gravel road from the parking lot up the hill for approx 2km to link up with the Red/Purple and Yellow routes.

Day permit sales: 06h00 – 18h00 (Mon – Sun) from hotel reception.

Getting to the trails from Devonvale: Exit the main gate and turn left to return to Bottelary Rd. Turn left and continue along the road for 1.7km. Turn left onto a brick paved road and continue to link up with the Orange and Red routes.
